The Tourism Council of Bhutan is pleased to present the Birding Tourism Feasibility Study Report 2020. The report presents the findings of the feasibility to promote bird watching tourism in the country.

The report presents the findings of Shechamthang to Waklaytar birding route which has the highest species richness compared to Narphu to Samdrup Jongkhar and Rimchu to Gasa birding routes, however each bird watching route has their specialty.

We hope that the Birding Tourism Feasibility Study Report 2020 will provide useful insight and necessary information to enhance bird watching tourism and equity in bird watching opportunities in the country.
